Thompson captures the true essence of the Christmas spirit in this powerful and transcendent story about a young boy’s search for the truth in love. Through the power of belief and the wisdom of the heart, Liam overcomes his fears of death, dying, and loss. Beautifully written with Norman Rockwell-like illustrations to lift spirits and remind people how much they are loved.

This book can change how you see the world and bring a fresh perspective to your family holiday celebrations. Compelling for all ages and creeds, it is simple — and complex in its message of hope for new beginnings through Liam’s search for inner freedom, the discovery of self-identity, and spiritual growth. If you or someone you love is coping with the stages of grief (under any circumstance), this book is a must-read. It is multi-purposed for anyone dealing with emotions of pain, worry, loss, and the fear of dying – both in the physical and spiritual sense. When our emotional state is grief-stricken, it is hard to get past our fears. Liam’s inner transformation allows him to see things with a restored and heightened sense of security, giving him the satisfaction his heart needs to love again, with his heart open and unafraid.

Peek Inside the Book!

“Christmas prevails as a celebrated holiday each year, yet its true message gets lost through commercialism, materialism and the 10,000 things that distract us at any given point in time. Our minds are over stimulated and over occupied to really celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and its message,” Thompson points out. “Liam’s cry for help in the midst of pain caused by the disruption to his family life is a message to all of us that we can relate to. It is his desire to know more about the idea of family that opens his eyes to his life’s purpose and gains him his heavenly peace.” The publication of “The Christmas Tree Wish” aims to remind people that there is always hope, no matter what situation or crisis they are facing. Hope is always the door that will open their hearts to the answers they are seeking.

So, what did you think?

The author was obviously inspired according to my take on this excellent read that allows children to have a new beginning on what fear really is and how hope overtakes it with faith. I was drawn, as an adult and author to read the entire story and wanted to see what the end results would be. I was not disappointed as the story did not have an ending to the new beginning of changing the way a child or an adult thinks. It was the teaser to hear more. The series that follows is something I am anxious to see where the author progresses to a higher level of consciousness that lives within all of this and even in someone young and new to trusting a new way of thinking about their belief in a God that now is represented as the Brightest Star, the Brightest light. What a relief that an author can give to children a way to love God without fear and do so by believing in the hope of a new way of thinking. Bravo!
